ugh. my stomach is a walking pharmacy today! i have so many vitamins, minerals and herbs running around that it's a wonder i didn't explode. and, if i don't get some food in me quick, i still might.

so, last night i was getting that stuffy-sinuses headache and this morning i woke up with a nasty sore throat and still the headache. betcha i'm getting what michael had/has. yippee. so... i've got the bottle of echinacea here with me and i'll be doing the 4 [or 8, depending on how i feel] every 2 hours and see if i can kick the bug.

my presentation went ok for class this morning. i went ahead and did my little intro in french, even though no one else had. hey, i need that extra credit to make up for not studying for the dictation last night. we'll see how bad i mess up, eh? i had good intentions, i really did.

i read my books and took notes for my presentation, then i did my 30 min on the treadmill ... esp. since i bummed a half a maple frosted cinnamon roll from michael. oh, sooooooo good....soooo many points. and i was going to study after i was done with the treadmill and stretches and ab-roller... but instead i did my treadmill, and some stretches... but i think i pulled my thigh muscles by starting out too fast and they are really tight across the back of my legs so i didn't want to damage them more, so i didn't do very many toe touches or windmills, and i was bored doing hurdle stretches so i just did my ab rolller, and laid back in that weird stretch with your legs bent like for hurdle stretches, except both legs bent, not just one, and then you lay over backwards. great quad stretch. then, i sat on my knees for a bit, then just leaned over and pressed my head into the floor.... and tried to fall asleep. in fact, i think i did. i was there for over half an hour. then i tried to climb up on the other end of the couch where michael was sleeping. that never works very well. so we finally ran off to bed around 1:30 this morning.

but at least i did my exercise, right? and my teacher liked my presentation. and we even talked after class about more details of Georges Seurat's life [la vie de Georges Seurat]. So... if i can get motivated and get some work done.. and kick the cold... it looks like a good day.
